Previously there was a tired conservatory, which was of no use (as it normally is with conservatories) to the family. We were contracted to build a new modern extension in place of that conservatory. During construction we removed the wall dividing the kitchen from the dining room - this allowed us to create one open plan kitchne / living / dining space. We also created a separate space under the stairs where the boiler was installed and in some near future - a cloakroom to be installed. Part of the floor (that was originally in the house) remained suspended timber structure and the new floor area was concreted. The whole new room now has water underfloor heating - which is now very common in new builds.
Below - images of what this property looked like before us and how we progressed.
