Conservatories nowadays are being demolished everywhere. This conservatory had its best days already - time was for a proper extension. The project was to build an extension in place of the conservatory and to join the previously built extensions to form one big open space. The footprint of the newly built extension wasn't very big but it made a real difference: the joined spaces formed a really spacious room, suitable for big parties and the two cute dogs. The challenge was the roof - new roof had to exactly fit the rooflines of existing extensions and the load bearing beam could not be lower than 2 metres. We were lucky to exactly match the bricks - the newly built extension looks like it's been built originally. The whole room is heated with underfloor heating.
