Originally there was a very poorly built rear extension, where the kitchen was located. We were tasked with a project to build an L shape kitchen extension that would utilize the existing space and demolish the rear extension. Everything went smooth from start to finish, but as always - there quite some waiting for the glass roof, doors and windows to come. The main challenge - having no proper roof on the side return to continue all of the internal finishing works. The plastic sheet that we temporarily fixed to cover rooflight opening not always worked - in stormy conditions, some rainwater was bound to leak through inside. Lucky that the kitchen was designed to be on the other side. As we progressed, our customer asked for more work and we ended up renovating the whole of ground floor. In our view - a very nicely designed kitchen extension, credit to our customers.
